So lets give this thread a few days to grow. Finding a time for the draft would be the best thing to do first. The live draft is the most exciting part of the whole thing. But if it doesn't work then we can Autodraft it. Vote on the next questions. Live Draft or Autopick? Potential times of live draft if there is one? Head to Head or Rotisserie?

Here's my hockey resume:

I have followed hockey as long as I can remember, my dad took me to a game every year, so I saw some good Blackhawks teams, with Jeremy Roenick, Chris Chelios, Steve Larmer, Michel Goulet, Dirk Graham, Steve Smith, Ed Belfour; and played goalie in soccer sometimes because I was a huge fan of Belfour and Glenn Hall.

From grades 1-8 I played floor hockey, and played half the time in goal, earning the nickname "The Brick Wall" because I was usually lights out. I wasn't a hard working player, but was a pretty good sniper, I probably had one of the best wrist shots in the league. Having a big basement probably helped my brother and I hone our skills, he went on to play ice hockey and was a pretty good scorer in high school. In our floor hockey days, he played for the other team since they didn't have enough players...and scored 2 goals on me, hahaha. 8th grade was the first time they had a championship, and I played 3 games in a row entirely in goal...even though I didn't have a great final game, we won and my friend on the other team (to this day, 10 years later) still wants his trophy back, haha.

Flash forward to 22 years old, and while at my brother's hockey practice, saw that a Beginner League requiring NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. I impulsively signed up, and bought all the equipment on impulse at the proshop at the rink...best thing I've ever done. I also had gotten a job scorekeeping at the rink a few weeks earlier, so I was able to get in far more skating and shooting practice after work and quickly improved.

4th game, I finally got on the scoresheet...with 2 goals and an assist!

I finished that season with 4 goals and 6 points...the next season I got Joe Thorntonitis and only had 1 goal to 5 assists...both seasons we missed the playoffs. I also took a skating class...really helped me out.

3rd season I only played 5 games before returning to school, but earned 3 goals and 3 assists, while the team went 5-0. Since I didn't play enough games, I wasn't eligible to play in the championship game...but the team won.

I played 4 more games over the Christmas break, fast forward past 2 years of isolation from hockey (the forgettable CP years :(), beyond the occasional pickup game with people way out of my level of talent...I'm back in the league, and so far am at a goal a game pace :D
